Ne-Yo Ordered To Pay $156K After Concert No-Show
A judge in Maryland has ruled on Tuesday that Ne-Yo and his booking agent must pay in excess of $156,000 in damages to a promoter after the Atlanta singer/songwriter failed to show up at a show in Washington state on New Years Eve, 2008.
Ne-Yo and Mike Esterman were sued by promoter Kenyohn Clark who claimed that Esterman failed to return a $95,000 deposit.
Ne-Yo testified at the trial and says he knew that the deposit should have been returned.
