After weeks of speculation and teases from Tyrese and Dr. Dre, it’s official! Apple Inc. has agreed to pay $3 billion to purchase Beats Electronics, the headphone and music-streaming service founded by iconic rapper/producer Dr. Dre and music executive Jimmy Iovine, Biz Journals reported.
The price is about $200 million lower than the number initially reported on May 8, but who’s counting?
