Obama Continues His Climate Agenda By Appearing On Popular Outdoor-Adventure Show

NBC Universal just announced that President Barack Obama will be appearing on “Running Wild With Bear Grylls” as part of his efforts to advocate for environmental issues. Obama is specifically concerned with how environmental issues are impacting the area of Alaska, as he says: “Alaskans are on the front lines of one of the greatest challenges we face this century…What’s happening in Alaska isn’t just a preview of what will happen to the rest of us if we don’t take action, it’s our wake-up call…as long as I’m president, America will lead the world to meet this threat before it’s too late.” Read more at The Root.

Main Suspect In Bangkok Bombing Has Been Detained

The Thai junta chief General Prayuth Chan-ocha has announced that authorities believe they have found the man responsible for bombing a famous shrine in Thailand last month. The man captured was holding a passport with the name Yusufu Mieraili, a 25-year-old from China’s Xinjiang region. It is believed that the man committed the bombing as revenge for Thailand’s mass deportation of 109 Uighur Muslims to China where the Beijing government has notoriously been abusing minority groups. I didn’t know it was possible, but FOX News has hit a new low. Guest Host and Comedian Tom Shillue came on “The Five” yesterday saying that leaders in the Black Lives Matter movement should be arrested for being a violent group and that protests should be shut down. He went onto say that the movement is a “lie,” that people are “drunk on rights” in America and proceeded to compare BLM to the mafia. I have no words. Read more at the Huffington Post.
