It’s no secret that Nene Leakes wants her own talk show. Now that she isn’t tied down to #RHOA, the former Georgia peach is free to make other TV appearances. While Tamar Braxton slays Dancing With The Stars, Nene filled in and Nene was doing THE MOST!
Check out a clip from the show where she cuts off the soft spoken Adrienne Bailon in the middle of her telling a sex story.
This was definitely awkward casting for ‘The Real’. Nene is outside of the shows targeted audience which caters to more of a 18-34 demographic.
While she’s only three years older than co-host Loni Love who’s 47, Loni has more of a youthful, bubbly and funny personality. We think Nene’s loud and brash tone would have been more fitting on The View where she could have read Raven-Symoné for filth.

That Misty Copeland reign just won’t let up! The prima ballerina is everywhere right now! This week she performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Her documentary, “A Ballerina’s Tale” is currently in theaters, her autobiography, Life In Motion, is being developed by New Line Cinema and now Misty will be producing a television series!
According to Deadline, after reading an article about Misty, writer Tracy Oliver (The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl, Survivor’s Remorse, Barbershop 3) cold called and pitched herself to Misty and her manager, Gilda Squire.
Tracy studied music, dance and theatre throughout her life including at Stanford University. She was already working on developing a dance themed series. After reading an article about Misty and her historic rise to prominence, Tracy knew they had to work together.
Their untitled FOX show will center around “…a young, hip and diverse group of aspiring dancers as they fiercely compete for places in a top ballet company” described Deadline.
We look forward to more images of ballerinas of color on primetime television! Congrats Misty!

Steve Harvey’s international bestselling self-help book, “Act Like Lady, Think Like A Man” spawned two successful films,Think Like A Man and Think Like A Man Too. The franchise may also become a television series.
According to Shadow and Act, the films scriptwriters, Keith Merryman and David Newman are also working on a pilot for FOX directed by Tim Story. The show will be produced by Steve Harvey and Will Packer.
Two of the films actreses, Taraji P. Henson and Meagan Good are already on FOX series, (Empire and Minority Report). While it’s too soon to know who’ll be apart of the cast, we would love for the ladies as well as Kevin Hart and Michael Ealy to reprise their roles.
Do you think the relationships premise of the films could withstand a television series?
