Anthony Hamilton’s soulful back up singers put their spin on the moment seen around the country.
Birdman rolled up to The Breakfast Club last week, only to quickly part ways, telling the dangerous trio they need to “Put respeck on his name.” Yes, pronounced with a “C-K.”
Now the viral moment has been recreated by our neighborhood vocal group, The Hamiltones.
Hahah. The internet is just too good.

Andra Day To Appear On 40 Million Coca-Cola Cups Nationwide

Andra Day, the powerful vocalist behind the song “Rise Up,” (which is like the unofficial Black girl anthem), will now be featured on 40 million Coca-Cola cups, ABC reports.
The promotions a part of Coke’s “Share A Cup and a Song,” campaign. The lyrics of her hit song will appear on the cups.
“I really hope this gives people a simple reminder to persevere,” Day said. “That’s what the song is all about. That’s why I like this Coke campaign, because it makes you inspire community. I hope people are able to see the encouraging stories through this.”
Purchasers of the cup will also receive access to a documentary based off of the singer’s song.
What a great way to inspire people of a mass level!
