It’s that time of the year again! Tax season is upon us and its just about time to file your tax returns. Here are some quick facts to make sure you are throughly prepared to get the most out of Tax Season.

The IRS will begin accepting tax returns on Jan. 29th 2018

The nation’s tax deadline will be April 17th 2018

Taxpayers will have two additional days to file beyond April 15th.

Taxpayers should keep copies of their prior-year tax returns for at least three years

Choosing e-file and direct deposit for refunds is the fastest and safest way to file an accurate income tax return and receive a refund.

The Where’s My Refund? ‎tool on IRS.gov and the IRS2Go phone app will be updated with projected deposit dates for early filers.
