Meagan Good covers Ebony Magazine’s January 2025 issue, looking breathtaking in a leopard coat dress explicitly made for her. Not only is her wardrobe giving boss lady in this issue, but her words capture her current mature essence, which is refreshing and admirable. Good has been in the film industry for three decades; therefore, she knows a thing or two. In this current issue, she talks about career longevity, authenticity, love, and more.
Good stars in the hit show Harlem, which highlights many cultural matters with an emphasis on the importance of sisterhood. In Good is a huge proponent of sisterhood and credits her sibling LaMiya Good for being her rock. “My sister, LaMiya, is my best friend,” the actress told Ebony. “I look up to her, respect her and trust her completely. Sisterhood, to me, means having people in your life who truly have your back and your best interest, who keep it all the way real with you, and love on you when you need it most. I’m so thankful for my sister and the bond we share.”
Meagan Good Is 30 Years In
Good credits her sister and mother for getting her through the ebbs and flows of Hollywood. The California native debuted in Tinseltown as a child actress and has been working ever since. She shared with Ebony that the secret to her longevity in the industry is attributed to her faith and her mother. “My secret to longevity and keeping my head above water in all the craziness is really God and also my mother. My mom always told me, “Don’t believe your own hype. Make sure you stay humble, keep perspective, be kind, and have a grasp on what’s really going on,” stated Good.
We can’t help but believe the 43-year-old’s hype, who obviously drinks from the fountain of youth. Good looks good, period. And since the entertainer has linked up with her now fiancé, Johnathan Majors, her glow is even more evident than before. “This relationship has taught me about unconditional love—what it means to be loved in the fullness of who you are and to love someone who brings out the best in you. It’s been an amazing journey, and I cherish it deeply. I’ll leave it at that,” dished Good.
